How to apply for RPL/RCC
Once you have completed your self assessment and believe you may be eligible for RPL or RCC, you must arrange a phone or face to face interview with the RPL coordinator to make an initial assessment of your claim.
The RPL coordinator will conduct a brief meeting with you and advise you of the process, how best to substantiate your claim and any support services available to you, prior to entering into an agreement with PTA. You will be provided with sufficient information to enable you to make an informed choice about whether it is worthwhile for you to apply for recognition including:
- A simple description of the RPL / RCC process
- An outline of the various evidence gathering choices available to you
- A plain English description of the qualifications/competencies you are applying for.
After this meeting, if it is agreed that RPL or RCC is right for you and you wish to proceed, the RPL coordinator will provide you with written confirmation of the units you are able to apply for recognition.
You must download, complete and send the RPL Application Form (linked on the right hand side) and the appropriate fee to us at the address shown on the right.
Once your enrolment form and fees are received you will be contacted by your assessor who will discuss the evidence you will need to provide.
Applications submitted without the appropriate fees will not be considered.
